> day dreaming of going far..........

day dreaming today again....
of going far....
very far......
to celebrate life...
my life.....
beyond my own expectations.....
in a land surrounded by white....
riding white horses.....
celebrating in gowns under my warm jackets
wearing exaggerated make up.....
and run around......
looking for a like minded prince....
to play with....

im day dreaming again....
of going far.......
sooner than later.

> xmas eve......

dear santa,
i did not ask for anything this year since you sent
me what i wanted a month earlier!
but ......you still sent one of your beautiful assistants
to deliver this amazingly beautiful bouquet of mix
greens (exactly what i like) plus a very special CD!
you really brought tears to my eyes with such attention
to my heart desires!
after all... i love xmas with all its surprises regardless of
how overrated/commercialized it has become over the years!

wish you a very merry Christmas everyone.....

i wish i had seen her performing live on stage!
i feel very sad to miss my chance!

Just found out she died this saturday!
my heart is heavy at the moment. i am very sad all of the sudden!

who touches others heart with such voice! she was gifted!

my dear "barefoot diva" i fell in love with your voice since i heard you.
your songs are magical! i dont get tired listening to your songs over
and over even though i dont understand the words!

it was my dream to go to one of your live performances!
i wish i had sent you a letter sooner!
your sultry voice and melancholy ballads stay alive with us!
i will stay in love with you/your music as long as im alive!

> a purple kinda day........

I woke up this morning thinking i like to make the raw purple blueberry cake
that i found the recipe here a while ago.
however by the time i was in the kitchen i was hungry for a real breakfast
and nothing else. so i found the purple potatoes in the basket at the corner
of kitchen waiting for me (got them last week at the farmers market) and i
ended up baking them to eat with my egg for brunch. yum!

meanwhile......i noticed there are many purple color items,
plants, flowers around me!.....so i got inspired for a photography
session! grabbed the camera (the one i still dont know how to properly use),
and took some "purple shots" of my purple items (dried hydrangeas, a purple
vase, decorative berries, purple potatoes and more! fun!

but that is not the end of story yet.......
a little later in my search for an inspiring craft project (to possibly do today)
i came to fall in love with the idea of making a fluffy, decorative pumpum like
wool ball in purple that once i saw on etsy.

it was then......that i realizedeverything is happening in purple around me recently!
being who i am....... i started wondering what all that could possibly mean!
so i went online to interpret my recent attraction toward such color and this is what i found:

" Purple embodies the balance of red simulation and blue calm.
This dichotomy can cause unrest or uneasiness unless the undertone
is clearly defined at which point the purple takes on the characteristics
of its undertone. A sense of mystic and royal qualities, purple is a color
often well liked by very creative or eccentric types and is the favorite
color of adolescent girls.
How the color purple affects us mentally and physically
* Uplifting
* Calming to mind and nerves
* Offers a sense of spirituality
* Encourages creativity

[adopted from here]
also......
another read i found here on the meaning of purple!

i never thought i was a "purple" kind of girl as ive been usually
drawn to things in red! however from now on im going to put
more attention towards things in purple!
after all and apparently purple is my new red!
also
im thinking.......if...... purple=red+blue....then......
it seems to me that there is a bit balance in purple than red by itself!
(if it makes any sense at all!) and for sure i love to use a bit blue in
my everyday life for peace of mind and harmony of spirit!

a little ballerina dancer in a wooden music box.
dont know why i love it so much!!

> my feelings tonight ......

[art work via  here]

> xmas tree.........

who needs a xmas tree when every branch, every stem,
limb, offshoot or piece of natural wood can be a xmas tree!
i love unconventional ideas! if you know what i mean!
use your creative self and come up with something to use
for xmas tree. then xmas becomes your holiday too!
very special one! very beautifully customized one!
that's what i do!
in fact as far as i know i try to celebrate "life" in an
unconventional organic way! and that is the only
way i know how to!
so..........cheers to that! and ......happy holiday everyone!

> snowing......

i found my snow today
not here....but somewhere
snow flakes are like my dreams
pouring from up there to down here
to my earthy reality
i wanna catch one or two....or even three
and glue them on paper somehow
if i could do that...... and only if
then my realities and my dreams are not two
then everyone could see
how fascinating are my dreams
and that is when
my earthiness become my eternity
and that is when
im a snow flake myself

> i miss snow......

I've been thinking of how much i miss snow recently!
although my tolerance for cold weather is very low
(leaving in california for too many years) but still i
want snow!

i was searching for fotos of snow but somehow
i got lost on the web and ended up with these country
white items i could not ignore. considering my secret
long term crush/love affair with anything white (like
vintage milk glass series), i had to post these here
and leave the snow craving/searching for another time.

> Juliana Santacruz Herrera..........

I love it!  this is as creative and unpredictable as all arts should be......

"artist juliana santacruz herrera has transformed the streets of Paris through
her visual intervention using braided strips of colorful fabric. seeing the many
cracks and potholes of the city as the canvas of her project, the site-specific
pieces are a playful addition to the grey urban setting. long lengths of dyed
fabrics are braided and then coiled into the shallow breaks in the street.
often made up of a combination of bright colors, the resulting effect
creates a graphic and visually-arresting contrast to the city's palette."
